Troubleshooting - Vintorio Wine Aerator PourerUpdated 2 years ago

I lost the manual for the Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer. Can you send me a new one?

The product manual for the Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer, including the latest usage tips and some troubleshooting, is available for download as a PDF here.

I don't taste a difference. What's the deal?

We recommend that you try the Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer with different bottles. Some wines benefit greatly from aeration -- like young, red wines that are high in tannins -- but every now and again, the difference may be more subtle. If you truly feel like the Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer does not overall improve the flavors and aromas in your wine, let us know and we can refund your purchase.

My wine aerator pourer won't fit in the bottle.

If the rubber gasket of your aerator “scrunches up” or if you have a hard time inserting your aerator into your bottle, it is because the rubber gasket was stored in a dry area. To resolve this issue, simply wipe the rubber gasket with a damp piece of cloth and try again.

Help! I lost a part of my Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer! What should I do?

Oh, no! If you lost your rubber o-ring (rubber washer) or the stem, we understand. These things can happen. Please contact us at [email protected] and we'll be able to send a replacement right away! We also sell the rubber o-rings and stems separately.

What are the dimensions of the clear o-ring?

The clear o-ring (rubber washer) dimensions are 25 mm (outer) and 22 mm (inner). We also sell the rubber o-rings and stems separately, if you want to stock up on extras.

My Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer is leaking! What should I do?

A leak in the Vintorio Aerator Pourer may mean that there is something wrong with the seal between the clear spout and black plastic flow regulator. The seam between the two units is usually very tight because it is sealed with a clear rubber washer, and will not leak unless there is something wrong with the washer.

Here is how to fix it:

1. Make sure that the Vintorio Logo and the three air holes are facing the same direction. Some users assemble the Vintorio Aerator UPSIDE DOWN, this will not create a leak-free seal and will cause the wine to leak out of the air holes when pouring.

2. Make sure the clear rubber washer on the bottom of the clear spout is not lost/missing. The clear rubber washer is glued onto the spout but may sometimes get lost during cleaning.

My Vintorio Aerator is leaking at the seam. What do I do?

If wine leaks from the seal between the acrylic spout and black flow regulator; that means that is something wrong with the clear rubber washer ring that is located on the spout. Can I get a replacement stem? I accidentally lost mine.

Do you sell extra replacement stems (air tubes) and/or extra replacement o-rings (rubber washers)?

We do! We've had a lot of requests to sell replacements for the air tubes and the o-rings, so we created a little bundle of five (5) replacement o-rings and two (2) air tubes for the Vintorio Wine Aerator Pourer. You can purchase them directly from our website or buy them from Amazon.com.
